Impeachment Inquiry

The House of Representatives is engaged in a formal impeachment inquiry of President Trump.

 

What is impeachment?

It means that Congress thinks the president is no longer fit to serve and should be removed from office. It is written in Article II of the Constitution, which sets up the presidency and executive branch but also lays out a way to remove the president.
